TORLYS also tested the user-friendliness of cork. We dropped a cup 40 times on a Cork floor and it never broke! Indeed, the air in Cork gives an extreme softness to a Cork floor.
As well, when an object falls on a Cork floor, or when you have had heavy furniture on it for a long time, you might notice an indentation created by the impact or weight. It will disappear over time. The cork will act like a sponge and tend to "bounce" back to its original shape.
