Premier Closets
Closets today are becoming an area where much more thought goes into in order to meet our needs. Often in many master suites people are putting in more drawers in the units and eliminating the need for chest of drawers in the bedroom itself. In recent years manufactures have made available more optional items that provide convenience and storage possibilities. Items such as roll out baskets for laundry, tie and belt racks, tilt down closet rods, jewelry drawers, shoe racks and other items. Some customers are actually renovating and removing a small bedroom and creating a dressing areas, and this usually is connected the master ensuite. With items like tilt down rods you can put your rods higher and still easily remove items from the rod when required. The days are slowly disappearing where we put a single shelf and rod in a closet. For a long time now our closets were underutilized because they were not properly shelved. We have two styles of closets Classic and Original

MEASURMENTS YOU NEED TO GET STARTED
1. Measure the floor to ceiling height.
2. Measure the wall to wall measurements and check to see how square the wall are. You can do that by just taking a second measurement 20” off the back wall. The shortest dimension gives you the maximum width of the closet.
3. You need to take a measurement of the height of the baseboard to allow for any trimming of tower units if necessary.
4. You need a measurement of the width of the closet door to the outside edge of the casings, and what style the door is. Bifold, Bypass, Swing. This is to know if drawers will interfere with the doors.
5. You need the measurement of the wall with the door in it to know how many inches you have from the casing to each side wall.
6. Once you have that you have all the measurements you need and you are ready to plan out your closet.
7. In most cases you will end up with at least double the space or more if organized properly.
Installation, you can install or we can do it for you!
