The Finishing Store has served the commercial, contractor and retail markets of Victoria and Nanaimo, BC since 1996. The Company is a Vancouver Island family owned and operated corporation. The owners, George and Suzette Linger, have been in the retail business since 1970. Our specialty is to deliver quality products and services to our customers at good value locally and worldwide.

We inventory primed, natural fir, maple, and oak mouldings as well as wood and polyurethane specialty mouldings. The Finishing Store also manufactures our own standard profiles and we can mill any custom profile you may require.

On top of the impressive selection of mouldings The Finishing Store carries one of the most extensive selections of hardwood, laminate, engineered, bamboo and cork flooring. With over 20 brands, 25 species and 6 grades of flooring products, we are sure to have what you want.

When it comes to finishing products, The Finishing Store has all the selection that you require. We have a large choice of mantels for your fireplace and if you do not see what you are looking for our journeymen carpenters can custom-make the mantel for you. Also available is a wide range of specialty mouldings, decorative wall niches and medallions. We have spindles, handrails and stair treads to accommodate the easiest to the most complicated stair system. Our complete line of finishes, varnish and wax products will make completing your project a snap.

For those customers not wanting to "do-it" themselves we can provide an installation service* or we have informative seminars for those who want to learn the fine art of installation.
